Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Specialist, Process Improvement to join the Authorization Services Process Improvement team.

You will work with business and technical Oscar colleagues, collecting requirements, building plans, documenting decisions, and analyzing data to design scalable process improvements." You will report to the Manager, Process Improvements, operate in a fully remote role (Dallas area OK), and help implement efficient, compliant, data-driven enhancements to our processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience supporting end-to-end project management and process improvement projects.
• 2+ years analyzing workflows to improve efficiency and identify causes of deficiencies.
• 2+ years of experience in process improvement and workflow design.
• 2+ years presenting information and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Experience leading and coordinating with team members to reach agreement on decisions.

Responsibilities

• With support from leadership, help identify risks; respond to and resolve issues/escalations through investigation to inform insights for short/medium/long-term technology-enabled processes and solutions
• Coordinate projects and processes to help ensure you meet important milestones and service levels
• Partner with leadership to strategize arrangements aimed at lowering overall cost or improving outcomes
• Work with all relevant team member groups to provide support and insight in formulating proactive implementation, communications, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation programs
• Maintain relationships with a variety of teams to achieve results for essential programs
• Translate data analysis into synthesized, visually appealing insights and conclusions
• Provide analytical support to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and prioritize projects based on team or organizational opportunities, growth targets and trends
• Support implementing process improvement projects and mindset shifts, to improve operational efficiency and achieve performance targets
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other responsibilities as assigned
