Job summary

Healthbay Company is seeking a strategic Process Consultant to join on a full-time contract basis. You will analyze operations, map processes, and design practical improvements that raise efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes.

You will partner with business leaders, operations, and IT to translate requirements into actionable specifications and to guide teams through transformation initiatives. Remote or hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process consulting, business analysis, or transformation.
• Ability to analyze complex workflows and propose practical improvements.
• Experience documenting processes, procedures, and requirements.
• Knowledge of process analysis, workflow optimization, and performance management.
• Strong interviewing, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assess operations to determine process effectiveness, productivity, quality, and resource use.
• Review workflows to remove unnecessary steps and reduce delays.
• Collaborate with leaders to understand challenges and desired outcomes.
• Conduct discovery sessions and capture detailed requirements.
• Document existing processes, systems, inputs, outputs, and dependencies.
• Design improved workflows and operating procedures aligned with objectives.
• Recommend changes based on data, feedback, and industry practices.
• Perform gap analyses between current and future-state operations.
• Analyze impacts on staffing, technology, costs, and customer experience.
• Support implementation strategies for approved improvements.
• Coordinate with tech teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Translate requirements into clear functional specs for teams.
• Facilitate workshops, reviews, and improvement meetings.
• Develop process documentation and workflow diagrams.
• Establish measures for evaluating efficiency, quality, and cycle time.
• Review performance post-implementation and suggest optimizations.
• Support change initiatives and training for new procedures.
• Prepare presentations and executive summaries.
• Track milestones, risks, and stakeholder actions.
• Promote standard processes and continuous improvement.
