Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business, operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in process consulting, business analysis, operations, process improvement, or transformation.
• Ability to analyze complex workflows and provide practical recommendations.
• Experience documenting processes, procedures, workflows and requirements.
• Strong knowledge of process analysis, workflow optimization and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Assess operations to determine process effectiveness, productivity, quality, and resource use.
• Review workflows to remove unnecessary steps, reduce delays, and improve service delivery.
• Partner with leaders and teams to understand challenges and desired outcomes.
• Conduct discovery sessions and walkthroughs to capture requirements.
• Document existing processes, responsibilities, systems, inputs, outputs and dependencies.
• Design improved workflows and operating procedures aligned to business objectives.
• Recommend changes based on data, feedback, industry practices and requirements.
• Analyze impact of changes on staffing, technology, costs, and customer experience.
• Help units develop practical implementation strategies for improvements.
• Coordinate with tech teams to identify automation and system enhancements.
• Translate requirements into clear functional specs for IT/projects.
• Facilitate process-design workshops and stakeholder reviews.
• Develop process documentation, operating procedures, diagrams, and requirements.
• Establish measures to evaluate efficiency, quality, cycle time, cost and service.
• Review performance after implementation and propose optimizations.
• Support change initiatives by helping teams understand new procedures and workflows.
• Prepare executive summaries and improvement recommendations.
• Track initiatives, milestones, risks and stakeholder actions.
• Promote consistent process standards and continuous improvement.
