Job summary

Healthbay Company seeks a strategic and analytical Process Consultant on a full-time contract to improve how work is performed by examining operations and developing practical process solutions that enhance efficiency, consistency, quality, and customer outcomes.

The role partners with business leaders, operational teams, and technology stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Organizational Management, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience in process consulting, business analysis, operations, process improvement, or business transformation.
• Ability to analyze complex workflows and develop practical recommendations for improvement.
• Experience documenting business processes, procedures, workflows, and requirements.
• Strong knowledge of process analysis, workflow optimization, continuous improvement, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Assess business operations to determine process effectiveness, productivity, quality, and resource utilization.
• Review existing workflows to identify opportunities to eliminate steps, reduce delays, and improve service delivery.
• Work with department leaders to understand operational challenges and desired outcomes.
• Conduct discovery sessions and process walkthroughs to capture detailed requirements.
• Develop clear documentation of existing processes, responsibilities, systems, inputs, outputs, and dependencies.
• Design improved workflows and operating procedures that support business objectives.
• Recommend process changes based on data, stakeholder feedback, industry practices, and requirements.
• Perform gap assessments to identify differences between current capabilities and desired operations.
• Analyze the impact of process changes on staffing, technology, controls, costs, and customer experience.
• Assist business units in developing implementation strategies for improvements.
• Coordinate with technology teams to identify workflow automation and system enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technology and projects.
• Facilitate process-design workshops and stakeholder reviews.
• Develop process documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and implementation materials.
• Establish measures for evaluating efficiency, quality, cycle time, cost, and performance.
• Review performance after implementation and suggest optimizations.
• Support change initiatives by teaching new procedures and workflows.
• Prepare presentations, executive summaries, and improvement recommendations.
• Track milestones, risks, and actions for assigned initiatives.
• Promote consistent process standards and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with process-management practices and automation technologies.
