Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer to act as a strategic adviser across Cortex Cloud products and marketing. You will drive evangelist programs, analyze market and customer trends, and provide strategic guidance to PM & PMM while collaborating with analysts and sales globally.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, demos, and deep product understanding, with remote work within the United States and opportunities to influence product strategy.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years experience with technical teams such as Systems Engineers, Solution Architects, Development Teams, or TME’s.
• Familiarity with the cloud security landscape including CNAPP, Supply Chain, Posture, Identity, Runtime.
• Ability to present to CISO or higher level executives and lead thought discussions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel requirements ~10%; some international travel.
• Position location: Remote within the United States.
• Experience building and delivering demos; working with Product Management; managing cross-functional programs.
• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities; identify improvements and communicate them to teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Sales to promote Cortex innovation and lead Cortex Cloud discussions.
• Build strong professional relationships with industry analysts.
• Act as a technical SME during analyst evaluations to accurately represent corporate strategy.
• Design and deliver programs to maximize influence and customer awareness globally (analyst briefings, inquiries, strategy days, demos, etc.).
• Provide direct product feedback and identify trends to advise future development.
• Collaborate with Competitive Intelligence to understand market forces and influence product strategy.
