Job summary

SAIC seeks a Principal Software Tester for a 100% remote role. You will develop and execute test plans, write cases and scripts, and report metrics to ensure high-quality software for critical systems.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in CS/IT/Engineering (Master's with 3+ years acceptable) and 10+ years of experience, with strong SDLC, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and testing tools. US citizenship and Public Trust eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and executing test cases and plans.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and test automation concepts.
• Hands-on with JIRA/Bugzilla and test management tools.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration testing.
• Understanding of security testing practices and SDLC.
• Edifecs experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes test plans, cases, and procedures.
• Performs and leads tests of software and IT systems.
• Documents and communicates test results and metrics.
• Supports issue resolution and risk-based testing.
• Leads test reviews and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
• Maintains test artifacts and ensures quality deliverables.
