Ladders seeks a Principal Platform Product Manager - Billing & Authentication to own strategy and roadmap for core platform services. You will partner with engineering, security, finance, and other stakeholders to scale and evolve billing, identity, and authentication at scale.

The role emphasizes a dependable billing experience, smooth pricing migrations, and robust data foundations behind the platform, with remote work options.

Formación

• 8+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS, with 4+ years focused on billing or subscription commerce.
• Deep understanding of billing and payments, including subscriptions, refunds, and multi-currency.
• Familiarity with identity management concepts like SSO and RBAC.
• Technical ability to read API specs and engage with engineering teams confidently.
• Strategic thinker with a clear vision for service-oriented product development.
• Detail-oriented with experience in managing high-stakes migrations or pricing changes.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the vision and roadmap for core services, starting with billing and identity.
• Define and execute the billing and payments strategy, including pricing and invoicing.
• Oversee the migration to a new billing platform, ensuring a seamless transition for customers.
• Streamline pricing changes and new plan launches for agility.
• Set direction for identity and authentication processes, collaborating with engineering and security.
• Establish a trustworthy billing data model for accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to align priorities and communicate trade-offs.
• Expand the role to include additional core services as business needs evolve.
