Job summary
Power Factors is seeking a Principal Implementation Engineer to lead complex, high-stakes platform implementations for renewable energy asset owners and operators. You will co‑own delivery of our Unity REMS solutions for utility‑scale solar, wind, and energy storage, acting as the technical and domain authority throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.

Qualifications
- 8+ years in renewable energy industry, asset management, or O&M
- Hands-on with SCADA systems, data historians or APM platforms
- Deep knowledge of performance concepts: power curve, PR, yield variance
- Strong SQL/data interrogation skills and data validation
- Ability to translate requirements into software configuration decisions
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementations for utility-scale solar, wind and BESS
- Serve as domain authority in platform usage and outputs
- Lead technical discovery workshops and translate requirements into config
- Review and validate deliverables for technical accuracy
- Drive UAT and production readiness with smooth handoffs
- Mentor PS team to build renewable energy domain fluency
- Contribute to methodology templates and runbooks
- Surface customer needs to Product and Engineering from engagement
