Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a Principal Global Compensation Manager to lead the design and execution of global compensation programs. You will be a senior individual contributor within Total Rewards, shaping pay philosophies and driving pay transparency while leveraging AI-enabled workflows and Workday for models and approvals.

You’ll partner with business leaders, HR partners, and M&A teams to map job architectures and geographic salary structures for a distributed workforce.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience within the high-tech/SaaS industry.
• At least 3 years in a lead advisory capacity.
• Hands-on configuration experience in Workday Advanced Compensation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve, and lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Act as primary architect for global pay transparency readiness (EU directives and US laws).
• Oversee annual global merit, promotion, and equity refresh cycles in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Support executive compensation design and equity modeling for new hires and refresh cycles.
