Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a visionary Principal Global Compensation Manager to design and drive the company’s global compensation programs. You will shape cash, bonus, and equity strategies while ensuring pay transparency and regulatory compliance worldwide.

You will leverage Workday Advanced Compensation to architect job structures, advise executives, and lead cross-functional collaboration with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and finance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS.
• Hands-on configuration experience in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or related field.
• Experience with global compensation structures and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
• Champion global pay transparency readiness and regulatory compliance across regions.
• Oversee annual merit, promotion, and equity refresh cycles in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Support executive compensation design and equity modeling in collaboration with senior leaders.
• Lead design and evolution of global job architecture, leveling, and geographic salary structures.
• Advise business partners on compensation decisions, org design, and talent retention.
• Drive compensation due diligence and post-merger integration for new acquisitions.
