Job summary

WP Engine seeks a visionary Principal Global Compensation Manager to design, execute, and evolve global compensation programs. You will shape pay philosophy, lead global cycles, and drive high-performance pay structures across a distributed workforce.

You will translate business goals into competitive pay designs, work within the Workday platform, and advance AI-enabled workflows to modernize Total Rewards. Collaboration with executives and partners is essential.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS, with at least 3 years in lead advisory roles.
Hands-on configuration in Workday Advanced Compensation.
Deep knowledge of global compensation structures, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
Master-level compensation modeling, data analysis, and financial planning skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, evolve, and lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies.
Champion global pay transparency readiness, including applicable laws and directives.
Oversee annual merit, promotion, and equity refresh cycles in Workday.
Support executive compensation design and equity modeling with leadership.
Lead job architecture, leveling, and geographic salary structure design for a distributed workforce.
Advise senior leaders on compensation decisions, organizational design, and talent retention.
Drive due diligence and post-merger integration for compensation when needed.
