Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a visionary Principal Global Compensation Manager to lead the design, execution, and evolution of our global compensation programs for a distributed workforce. You will align pay structures with business goals and champion pay transparency using Workday Advanced Compensation.

You will drive global merit, promotion, and equity cycles, model executive compensation, and shape job architectures across regions, partnering with senior leaders to inform decisions and enable growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS.
• 3+ years in a lead advisory capacity.
• Workday Advanced Compensation expertise.
• Global compensation structures, international markets, and regulatory environments.
• Strategic modeling, data analysis, and financial planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve, and lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies.
• Champion global pay transparency readiness and compliance.
• Oversee annual global merit, promotion, and equity cycles using Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Support executive compensation design and equity modeling.
• Lead job architecture, leveling frameworks, and geographic salary structures.
• Advise EE Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and senior leaders on compensation decisions.
• Drive compensation due diligence and post-merger integration strategies.
