Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineering Project Manager in the Data Center Mission Critical Group.

You will lead engineering projects, coordinate with technical teams to craft detailed proposals, and manage schedules, risks, and project finances while guiding engineers, designers, and subcontractors to successful outcomes. With locations across the US and remote options, the role emphasizes client satisfaction, strong communication, and relationship building.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP Certification with 10 years' experience in engineering consulting or data center project management.
• Minimum of 6 years as PM or engineer with an engineering consulting firm doing data center projects.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Ideal candidate has worked with a hyperscale data center directly or indirectly as a consultant.
• Skilled in cost/workhour estimating and proposal development and review.
• Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously.
• Knowledge in earned value management and progress reporting.
• Experienced in contract and NDA language development and review.
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
• Strong coordination and team-building; excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Client & Team Relations: Provide exceptional service to clients and teammates, fostering positive relationships.
• Project Leadership: Lead projects by collaborating with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals, manage schedules, and execute recovery plans.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop work plans, risk strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures.
• Scheduling & Financial Management: Oversee project schedules, apply scheduling tools, and manage financial health of projects.
• Team & Resource Management: Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables.
• Client & Business Development: Maintain client relationships, manage scope, and support proposals and new opportunities.
• Contract & Project Oversight: Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, traveling as needed.
