Job summary

ENERCON's Data Center Mission Critical Group is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead complex engineering projects and oversee a team of engineers, designers, and subcontractors across multiple sites. You will craft detailed proposals, manage schedules, assess risks, and monitor financial health to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes strong client communication, relationship building, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• 8+ years experience in engineering consulting, project management or data center.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and collaborate with technical teams to develop detailed proposals, manage schedules and recovery plans when needed.
• Develop comprehensive work plans, risk management strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures for smooth execution.
• Oversee project schedules and apply scheduling tools while managing the financial health of projects with regular reporting.
• Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure quality deliverables and alignment with internal standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships, manage project scope, and support marketing efforts including proposal preparation and identifying new opportunities.
• Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, traveling to client facilities as needed.
