Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Engineering Project Manager to lead data center projects, develop proposals with technical teams, and manage schedules, risks, and financial health.

You will supervise engineers, designers, and subcontractors, while maintaining client relationships and driving project success across multiple locations, including remote work in the US. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP certification and 10 years experience in engineering consulting
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a project manager or engineer with an engineering consulting firm doing data center projects
• PMP certification preferred
• Experience with hyperscale data centers directly or indirectly as a consultant
• Skilled in cost/workhour estimating and proposal development and review
• Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously
• Knowledge in earned value management and progress reporting
• Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
• Strong coordination and team building skills

Responsibilities

• Client & Team Relations: Provide exceptional service to clients and teammates, fostering positive relationships.
• Project Leadership: Lead projects by collaborating with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals, managing schedules, and executing recovery plans as needed.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop work plans, risk management strategies, communication plans, and work breakdown structures for smooth execution.
• Scheduling & Financial Management: Oversee project schedules, apply advanced scheduling tools, and manage financial health with timely reporting.
• Team & Resource Management: Manage engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables.
• Client & Business Development: Maintain client relationships, manage project scope, and support proposals and identifying new opportunities.
• Contract & Project Oversight: Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, traveling to client facilities as needed.
