Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering projects within our Data Center Mission Critical Group.

You will guide technical teams, develop detailed proposals, manage schedules, risk, and financial health, and drive client satisfaction while overseeing engineers, designers, and subcontractors for successful outcomes. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP Certification with 10 years experience in engineering consulting, project management, or data center environments.
• Minimum of 6 years experience as a project manager or engineer with an engineering consulting firm doing data center projects.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Ideal candidate has worked with a hyperscale data center directly or indirectly as a consultant.

Responsibilities

• Lead client and team relationships, delivering exceptional service and fostering positive partnerships.
• Oversee projects by collaborating with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals and manage schedules.
• Develop comprehensive work plans, risk management strategies, and communication plans for smooth execution.
• Manage project schedules, apply advanced scheduling tools, and monitor financial health of projects.
• Oversee engineers, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality deliverables and adherence to standards.
• Support business development and proposal efforts, including identifying new opportunities and managing scope.
• Plan, implement, and supervise client contracts, with travel to client facilities as needed.
