Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a remote Labor Compliance Specialist to support prevailing wage and labor requirements across projects in the U.S. This temporary, fully remote role focuses on monitoring payroll, reviewing contracts, and conducting audits to ensure compliance with labor laws.

The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of public works compliance experience, a BA/BS in a related field, and strong communication skills to collaborate with project teams and government reviewers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience with Public Works Labor Compliance Programs and/or Project Labor Agreements.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis, and auditing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of employment practices in the construction industry and state labor regulations.
• Experience implementing procedures and coordinating with other internal and external departments.
• Ability to work independently, strategically, and with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor certified payroll for internal self-perform projects and subcontractors.
• Oversee labor compliance company-wide.
• Review public contracts for labor requirements and ensure monitoring and reporting plans.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance.
• Develop risk assessments for Compliance Programs.
• Stay updated on applicable labor laws and regulations.
