Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a temporary Labor Compliance Specialist to support projects nationwide with prevailing wage and labor requirements. The role is fully remote, with interview discussions about location expectations.

Responsibilities include monitoring payroll, reviewing contracts for labor provisions, audits and ensuring compliance across projects. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in public works labor compliance or PLAs, a business degree, and strong auditing, analytical, and communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in business or related field.
3+ years experience in public works labor compliance programs or PLAs.
Experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis and auditing.
Knowledge of employment practices in construction and state labor regs.
Experience implementing procedures and coordinating with internal/external departments.

Responsibilities

Monitor certified payroll for internal self-perform projects and subcontractors.
Oversee labor compliance company-wide.
Review public contracts for labor requirements and coordinate plans to monitor, report and submit to agencies.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance.
Develop risk assessments for compliance programs.
Stay updated on laws and regulations affecting SOLV Energy.
Assist in third-party reviews, audits and inquiries with Director of Compliance.
Ensure compliance of organizational policies and procedures.
Build relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
Conduct labor compliance trainings for stakeholders, employees and contractors.
Review payroll, benefits statements, training contributions and apprenticeship paperwork for compliance.
Solicit missing/revised documentation from contractors and liaise with staff to ensure compliance.
Work with LCP Tracker and other software to review/approve payroll documents.
Compile information for third-party information requests.
Draft payment letters and follow up with third parties.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
