Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Labor Compliance Specialist for a fully remote position. You will oversee labor compliance across projects, monitor certified payroll, and review contracts to ensure adherence to prevailing wage and local hire rules.

The role requires at least three years in public works labor compliance and a BA/BS in business. You will work with the Director of Compliance on audits and training, supporting ongoing compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience working with Public Works Labor Compliance Programs and/or Project Labor Agreements.
• Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree from a recognized college or university in business or related degree is required.
• Experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis, and auditing skills.
• Strong working knowledge of state labor regulations and employment practices in construction.
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external departments and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor certified payroll for internal self-perform projects and external subcontractors.
• Review public contracts for labor requirements and ensure monitoring plans and submissions to agencies.
• Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance across projects.
• Develop risk assessments for Compliance Programs.
• Stay updated on applicable labor laws and regulations affecting SOLV Energy policies.
• Collaborate with third-party reviews, audits, and inquiries with the Director of Compliance.
• Provide training on labor compliance to stakeholders and contractors.
• Maintain and verify payroll records, benefit statements, and apprenticeship paperwork.
