Job summary

QE Solar is seeking a Prevailing Wage Manager to own and lead the company’s prevailing wage and pay compliance program across all operations. This remote role requires deep expertise in Davis-Bacon and IRA requirements, multi-state wage determinations, and subcontractor enforcement to protect tax credit eligibility and enable scalable nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of Davis-Bacon and IRA prevailing wage experience.
• Proven experience owning prevailing wage compliance programs.
• Deep knowledge of certified payroll, multi-state wage determinations, and subcontractor enforcement.
• Experience leading audits and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own QE Solar's prevailing wage program end-to-end and set standards.
• Interpret Davis-Bacon Act and IRA requirements for all operations.
• Develop scalable wage determination frameworks for multi-state work.
• Create SOPs for payroll validation and wage documentation.
• Oversee certified payroll for internal staff and subs, validate fringe benefits.
• Enforce subcontractor compliance with payroll and reporting requirements.
• Lead audits and reporting, interact with IRS and DOL as needed.
• Collaborate across Business Development, Operations, HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement.
