Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, seeks a Labor Compliance Specialist for a fully remote, temporary assignment supporting nationwide solar and storage projects.

Your responsibilities include monitoring certified payroll, reviewing contracts for labor requirements, and conducting audits to ensure compliance across internal and external teams. This role requires strong knowledge of prevailing wage enforcement and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience working with Public Works Labor Compliance Programs and/or Project Labor Agreements
• Bachelor degree in business or related field is required
• Experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis, and auditing skills
• Knowledge of employment practices in the construction industry and state labor regulations
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external departments and work independently

Responsibilities

• Monitor certified payroll for internal self-perform and subcontractors
• Review contracts for labor requirements and ensure appropriate monitoring plans
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance
• Develop risk assessments for Compliance Programs
• Stay updated on applicable labor laws and regulations
• Assist in third-party reviews, audits, and inquiries
• Ensure compliance of organizational policies and procedures
• Create relationships with stakeholders and contractors
• Conduct labor compliance training for stakeholders and staff
• Review payroll records and apprenticeship paperwork for compliance
