Job summary

Higlobe is seeking a remote Patient Care Advocate to help patients access affordable medications through the Prescription Payment Plan. You will work with patients, insurers, providers, and pharmacies to enroll, verify eligibility, manage cost-sharing, and ensure timely prescription fulfillment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and experience in healthcare, insurance, or customer service. Strong communication and teamwork in a remote setting are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance or customer service.
• Experience with prescription assistance programs is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to navigate complex processes.
• Excellent communication with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacies.
• Team-oriented with ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with enrollment and verify eligibility.
• Confirm prescription coverage and approve eligible meds.
• Manage copay, coinsurance and additional assistance when applicable.
• Coordinate with pharmacies to apply benefits at fill.
• Support refills and monitor adherence while maintaining eligibility.
• Guide patients through annual renewals and program updates.
