Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer - Data Security. This remote role focuses on cloud security consultative engagements, developing new security services offerings, and partnering with customers to enable secure business outcomes. May report to an Austin office as needed.

The role requires a strong foundation in cybersecurity, pre-sales consulting, and the ability to translate technical concepts into solutions for customers across industries.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS, etc.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers, and procurement to strengthen customer relationships.
• Understand SHI services offerings across solution practices through training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling through 1x1, team, and company training.
• Stay current on new technology, trends, and market behavior by studying market trends.
• Engage in self-study and lab work to increase knowledge.
• Develop collateral to support cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Create use cases in the SHI lab to support sales engagements.
