Job summary
SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer - Data Security to act as a customer-facing cloud security expert. You will take a consultative approach to security projects, understand SHI’s service offerings, and develop new security services to address customer requests.
The role may require reporting to the Austin, TX office for business needs. Responsibilities include collaborating with client stakeholders, educating sales teams, and building use cases and collateral to
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
- 3+ years of experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
- Advanced certifications in CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security or similar preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CIO, CSO, CISO, Security Engineers and procurement to strengthen customer relationships.
- Understand SHI’s security offerings and expand knowledge through training.
- Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies.
- Stay current on technology trends and market landscape.
- Develop collateral and use cases in SHI lab to support engagements.
