Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Presales Solutions Engineer - Data Security to act as a customer-facing cloud security expert, guiding security projects and creating new offerings. This remote role may report to the Austin, TX office as needed.

The role requires a consultative security mindset, 5+ years in technical cybersecurity, and advanced certifications. SHI rewards growth with diverse benefits and a global platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
• 5+ years experience in a technical cybersecurity role
• 3+ years experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting
• Advanced certifications in CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security or equivalent certifications
• Travel to client locations up to 20% for meetings, internal engagements, or conferences

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIO, CSO, CISO, Security Engineers, and procurement to strengthen customer relationships.
• Understand SHI’s security offerings by training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and technologies.
• Stay current on technology trends and market behavior.
• Develop collateral and use cases in SHI lab to support engagements.
