Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – SecOps/SIEM to serve as a customer-facing security expert guiding clients in designing and implementing security operations solutions.

The role emphasizes SIEM platform engineering, log onboarding, detection and content management, and integration with SOAR, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, and ticketing systems. The position is remote with residency in the Northeast region of the US as required for business needs, and involves

Qualifications

• Experience working in identity management and security solutions.
• Deep technical identity governance knowledge, incl. SIEM, SOAR, TIP, Dark Web scanning, CLM/PKI, and BAS controls.
• Excellent presentation skills, including ability to run demos on security operations products.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Initiative to research and resolve problems with a positive attitude.
• Exceptional relationship-building acumen with a passion for technology.
• Strong documentation skills to include diagrams and presentations.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS.
• Expert knowledge of security solutions; relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to evaluate and understand customers’ cybersecurity technologies and needs.
• Engage with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, Security Engineers and procurement to strengthen relationships.
• Understand SHI services offerings across solution practice areas.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and technologies.
• Stay current on new technology, trends, and market behavior.
• Engage in self-study and lab work to increase knowledge.
• Develop collateral to support cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Develop use cases in SHI lab for sales engagements.
