Job summary

At Atlassian, DX's Solutions Engineering Team seeks a Pre‑Sales Solutions Engineer to drive growth of the DX product. You will serve as the solution expert across the sales cycle, solving complex engineering problems using our APIs and platforms to help close critical deals.

You will lead technical evaluations, conduct discovery sessions, and design tailored solutions while acting as a trusted advisor on deployment methodologies and analytics integrations.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Ruby/Rails and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and data interchange.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Evaluations with Account Executives to drive all technical aspects of the sales cycle, including POCs and Pilots.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client needs and current workflows.
• Ask targeted questions to uncover engineering processes, branching strategies, deployment workflows, and tooling.
• Design and propose technical solutions for integrating Atlassian APIs with client workflows.
• Act as trusted advisor on deployment methodologies and analytics integrations.
• Capture technical feedback and work with Product/Engineering to inform roadmap.
