Job summary

Service Corporation International's New Albany location seeks a proactive Pre-Planning Advisor (PPA) who will sell pre-need arrangements and services, while guiding families with care during difficult times. The role blends field presentations with home-based outreach and requires quota attainment.

You will lead generation, build lasting family relationships, and collaborate with funeral directors and staff to deliver compassionate, professional service. Evening and weekend work is common.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education or equivalent; 1–2 years of college or equivalent experience.
• License: valid driver’s license with acceptable record; in states where required, Funeral Directors License may be required.
• Experience: sales experience or 1–2 years industry experience or equivalent education.
• CRM experience a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate referrals for both at-need cemetery arrangements and pre-need arrangements using company tools and standards.
• Prospect at least 4 hours daily (when working 8 hours) such as approaching families in person at events, door knocking, or seminars.
• Obtain referrals from families by follow-up visits after service.
• Develop community and civic relationships.
• Present Dignity Memorial Planning Guides to families.
• Collaborate with funeral directors and staff to ensure seamless, high-quality service.
