Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Project Manager - Power Systems to lead large turnkey electrical upgrade projects from start to finish. The role supports cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, construction managers, suppliers, and contractors, with remote work available within covered states.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety and QA/QC, and coordinate with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in PM and/or senior field service, or equivalent education/experience
• 5+ years managing electrical power distribution and related multi-disciplinary projects
• 5+ years budgeting, forecasts, schedules, and project financial performance
• 3+ years using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling software
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; driver’s license requirement per policy

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical upgrade projects involving substations, plant control systems, excitation systems, governor controls, SCADA, and power distribution systems
• Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Manage all phases of project execution, including scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, procurement, and risk management
• Oversee subcontractor selection, contracting, performance, and budget management
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, confined space, and rigging practices
• Establish and maintain QA/QC processes and accurate project documentation, including as-builts and punch lists
• Develop and maintain project plans, progress reports, action item logs, and contingency plans
• Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Support proposal development, including estimating and scoping of turnkey project opportunities
