Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is seeking a remote Project Quality Engineer in the United States. The role focuses on leading quality activities from early project engagement through FWT/FAT, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards and Eaton requirements.

The position involves cross-functional collaboration with Program Management, Field Service, Product Engineering, and Suppliers to deploy Quality Plans, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement. 50% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related function within an electrical industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting quality functions within a factory, manufacturing, and/or site environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality activities from early project engagement to FWT or FAT.
• Ensure adherence to customer, industry standards and Eaton requirements.
• Lead cross-functional lessons learned and implement actions.
• Lead Quality Plan development and deployment with customer, supplier, and internal teams.
• Partner with Supplier Quality to ensure alignment with Customer and Eaton standards.
• Review deliverables and compliance evidence from external suppliers.
• Support audits, assessments, PPAP, etc.
• Collaborate with Plant Manufacturing Quality and Customer Quality for successful FAT/FWT.
