Job summary

Partner Company is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to support utility planning, generator interconnection, and transmission planning for renewable and conventional energy projects. You will develop models, perform studies, and analyze how new generation resources affect the grid.

The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams across remote work arrangements, applying AI tools to improve efficiency and deliver high-quality technical recommendations to clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework in power systems analysis.
At least 3 years of power systems engineering experience and knowledge of U.S. ISOs/RTOs.
Experience with PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, and transmission planning software.

Responsibilities

Develop technical models and perform power system studies including steady-state, dynamic, transient stability, voltage, thermal, and short-circuit analyses.
Review ISO feasibility and system impact studies, preparing technical reports and recommendations for clients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and apply emerging technologies and AI tools to improve workflow efficiency.
