Placements24 is seeking a Grid Integration Engineer to join a fully remote team, supporting renewable energy integration into the national grid. You will conduct interconnection studies, develop grid connection requirements, and collaborate with utilities to ensure compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in power systems engineering, proficiency with PSS/E/ETAP/PSCAD, and strong analytical and communication skills for remote teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems engineering, with renewable energy integration experience.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD.

Responsibilities

• Perform grid interconnection studies, including stability, fault level, and short circuit analysis for renewable energy projects.
• Develop technical specifications and requirements for grid connection equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with utility companies and grid operators to ensure compliance with interconnection standards and regulations.
• Analyze the impact of renewable energy generation on grid stability and identify mitigation strategies.
• Support the development of grid codes and standards related to renewable energy integration.
• Review and approve technical designs and proposals for grid interconnection infrastructure.
