Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Power Delivery Project Manager to lead distribution resiliency initiatives across the Louisiana region, with remote or hybrid work options and periodic client meetings.

You will supervise technical and administrative aspects across electric utility projects, ensuring QA/QC, safety, and schedule adherence while coordinating with EPC teams and clients. Travel to offices as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of post education experience. Preferred in a project management role within Power Delivery/Utility Industry.
• Strong understanding of utility operations, power systems engineering, and electrical distribution design.
• Familiarity with NERC, IEEE standards, NEC codes, and utility regulatory requirements.
• Experience with EPC project delivery, capital programs, and infrastructure projects within the energy sector.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills in complex utility environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with utilities, clients, regulators, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee cross-functional teams delivering power distribution, substation, and utility engineering projects.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects including budgets, schedule, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Develop and manage project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and resource plans for capital programs.
• Build and maintain Work Breakdown Structures aligned with EPC delivery models.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in proposal development, RFP responses, and business development in power/energy markets.
• Coordinate with project accounting on forecasting, EVM, and profitability tracking.
