Job summary

Leidos is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within Power Delivery Solutions division. You will work with engineering managers and account managers to provide Project Management Services supporting a large electric utility client across Kentucky and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include leading project execution, owning portfolio performance, client interface, mentoring staff, invoicing, and pursuing business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive Project Management experience within Electric Utility industry.
• Experience with US Electric Utilities and understanding of power infrastructure.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 or MS Project; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electric utility project teams to deliver capital transmission substation projects.
• Own portfolio performance: cost, schedule, scope management.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to report progress and mitigate risks.
• Mentor and develop project management staff.
• Manage monthly invoicing, accruals, and AR processes.
• Identify opportunities for business development.
• Ensure contract compliance and quality control.
