Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking experienced Project Managers to support a large electric utility client within the Power Delivery Solutions division. The role involves leading project execution teams across transmission/substation projects, managing cost/schedule/scope, and interfacing with clients and internal stakeholders.

Remote capabilities exist with periodic travel to Kentucky area (Louisville, Lexington).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
4+ years of progressive Project Management experience within the Electric Utility Industry; direct PM experience at an electric utility preferred.
Demonstrated experience with US Electric Utilities and understanding of electric power/infrastructure projects.
Direct experience with electric power infrastructure projects; strong portfolio management and leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); ability to travel periodically.
Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead electric utility project execution teams to deliver capital transmission/substation projects.
Own portfolio performance: manage cost, schedule, and scope.
Interface with clients and stakeholders to report progress and mitigate risks.
Mentor and develop project management staff; foster collaboration and learning.
Manage monthly invoicing, accruals, and AR processes.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities to support growth.
Ensure contract compliance and quality control.
