Job summary

Leidos Engineering seeks experienced Project Managers to join the Strategic Program Consulting team within Power Delivery Solutions. You will coordinate with engineering and account managers to provide PM services for a large electric utility client, primarily serving Kentucky-area projects and leadership in portfolio performance.

Remote capabilities exist with periodic travel to client sites in Kentucky (Louisville, Lexington) and potentially other locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
4+ years of progressive Project Management experience within the Electric Utility Industry.
Direct PM experience at an electric utility is strongly preferred.
Experience with US Electric Utilities and understanding of power infrastructure.
Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead electric utility project execution teams to deliver capital transmission substation projects.
Own portfolio performance including cost, schedule and scope management.
Interface with clients and internal stakeholders to address issues and report progress.
Mentor and develop project management staff to promote collaboration and learning.
Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities to support growth.
Ensure contract compliance and quality control standards.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders across project teams and partners.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
