Job summary

ClearCaptions, LLC. seeks an experienced BI Report Developer to design and deploy Power BI reports leveraging Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics. You will craft data-driven narratives, implement row-level security, and partner with data engineering to optimize models for superior performance.

Embedded in a 100% remote work setup, the role reports to the Reporting & Visualization Supervisor and requires strong presentation skills and a portfolio of impactful reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Business preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on Power BI development with strong report portfolio.
• Experience with structured data from Tabular Models, SQL Server, Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency in writing complex DAX expressions and security in Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and deploys advanced Power BI reports and dashboards from Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics.
• Creates complex calculations, measures, and KPIs using DAX for meaningful insights.
• Implements row-level security in Power BI to ensure data confidentiality.
• Collaborates with data engineering to optimize data models for performance.
• Manages Fabric capacity, monitors usage, and optimizes performance for reporting.
