Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a PowerBI Technical Administrator to ensure smooth operations of DW/BI environments. This fully remote role, based in the United States, involves installing, configuring, and optimizing DW/BI software, including BI, ETL, and data management tools.

Responsibilities include developing ad-hoc Power BI reports, training, tuning performance, managing user access, and applying security patches. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of relevant experience and strong collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of IT/BI experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear visualizations for stakeholders.
• Experience building data models and optimizing performance in DW/BI environments.

Responsibilities

• Generates Ad-Hoc PBI Reports.
• Conducts PBI Training (Instructor-led Class Development, Delivery).
• Installs and configs DW/BI software to meet customer needs per enterprise architecture.
• Continuously tunes environment to optimize performance of DW/BI software.
• Designs and updates user access controls in line with security requirements.
• Evaluates vendor updates and applies patches to mitigate risks.
• Makes recommendations to improve DW/BI configurations and capabilities.
• Ensures smooth DW/BI operations through monitoring and patching.
• Supports role-based security for users per enterprise guidelines.
• Performs upgrades to adopt new features and ensure security.
