Job summary

Engineer Up is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer on the East Coast remotely. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI solutions that convert complex data into actionable insights.

You will partner with stakeholders, data engineers, and developers to define reporting strategies and deliver intuitive dashboards. This hands-on role requires ownership from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing optimization, with a strong emphasis on performance and data

Qualifications

5+ years of experience developing business intelligence or data analytics solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Advanced proficiency with DAX.
Strong experience with Power Query/M.
Strong understanding of data modeling.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources.
Experience with Power BI Service and data governance.

Responsibilities

Design and develop complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for enterprise clients.
Translate business requirements into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
Build and optimize data models using Power BI and related Microsoft technologies.
Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns and KPIs.
Use Power Query for data transformation and preparation.
Connect Power BI to a variety of data sources including SQL databases and APIs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver reporting solutions.
