Job summary

Client is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to modernize enterprise reporting and transform legacy reports into scalable dashboards. You will build and optimize Power BI reports, migrate SSRS, and develop advanced DAX and SQL logic.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of Power BI experience, strong data modeling skills, and a track record of handling large, complex enterprise datasets. This is a 100% remote role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Advanced DAX and strong SQL/T-SQL expertise.
• Experience with SSRS migration, Paginated Reports, and Power BI Report Builder.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, semantic models, and dataset architecture.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and enterprise reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models.
• Migrate and rebuild legacy SSRS and Paginated Reports into Power BI.
• Develop advanced DAX measures and Power Query (M) transformations.
• Use SQL/T-SQL to validate data, rebuild reporting logic, and transition reports to new data sources.
• Tune report performance and ensure reporting accuracy.
