Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager II to oversee a commercial loan portfolio and underwriting transactions. You will review financial statements, monitor risk, and partner with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk to drive sound credit recommendations.

The role requires a minimum of 6 years in portfolio management or related banking fields, with strong accounting, underwriting, and risk analysis skills.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in portfolio management, commercial banking, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of accounting, credit analysis, portfolio management, underwriting, and legal documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and risk partners.
• Expertise in financial and risk analysis, including financial modeling.
• Proficient in technology and ability to learn new applications.

Mansioni

• Manage underwriting, approval and documentation process for transactions which may include new money, loan extensions, amendments, waivers and ancillary products, including treasury management, FX, interest rate derivatives, and commodity exposure.
• Review and recommend credit decisions; perform final risk rating analysis; provide business partners with credit lending policy interpretation.
• Create and deliver comprehensive portfolio performance reports and presentations for senior management, offering strategic insights and high-level recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Actively involved in the recruiting, training, and mentoring of junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Role may be responsible for providing other employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning.
