Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6+ years of CRE underwriting experience with income-producing, construction, and REITs.
• Strong credit analysis skills, including cash flow, guarantor, collateral, and repayment source evaluation.
• Experience structuring and presenting credit recommendations while applying bank policy and risk standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional presence (client-facing).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an independent current and forward-looking view on the creditworthiness of each client and communicate this view to partners.
• Perform monitoring actions; conduct periodic deal reviews; and renew or modify deals.
• Work with Credit Risk and Relationship Managers to manage the bank's exposure.
• Analyze historical financials and projections to ensure accurate risk ratings and identify industry trends.
• Manage underwriting, approval and documentation for transactions including treasury management and derivatives.
• Review and recommend credit decisions; provide policy interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Meet with prospects / clients as needed.
• Create and deliver portfolio performance reports for senior management.
• Ensure accurate records supporting compliance and data governance.
