Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Polish Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support USCIS interviews and hearings. This is a remote position with secure, USCIS-approved platforms.

You will provide real-time Polish-English interpretation, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to immigration, legal, and administrative contexts. Qualifications include native or near-native fluency and 2+ years of interpreting experience.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Polish and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience.
• Strong knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
• Excellent communication and telephone interpretation skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Polish English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with USCIS/DHS standards.
• Manage both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
