Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC in the United States is seeking Polish over-the-phone interpreters (OPI) to support USCIS interviews and hearings under a federal contract. The role requires native or near-native Polish and English, and involves interpreting in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Polish and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, healthcare, government preferred).
• Strong knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
• Excellent communication and telephone interpretation skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Polish-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with USCIS/DHS standards.
• Manage both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
