Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Greek Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. German is an important European language often requested in immigration, asylum, and naturalization cases.

You will provide real-time German-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders from a remote setting. Requirements include native or near-native fluency in German and English, 2+ years of professional interpreting experience, and strict adherence to

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in German and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, community, or government preferred).
• Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong telephone communication skills and ability to remain accurate under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time German English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.
• Deliver services with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
