Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking German/English interpreters to support USCIS contracts in a remote setting. The role focuses on real-time telephonic interpretation with accuracy and professionalism for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include handling scheduled and surge calls, maintaining strict confidentiality, and participating in training and quality assurance reviews. A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with Tier 3/5 eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in German and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, government preferred).
• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time German English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.
• Deliver services with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
