Centex Technologies is seeking a Program Analyst 3 - Policy Writer to develop, revise, govern, and coordinate clear policies and program documentation for internal and customer use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, business, communications, English, technical writing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of policy, procedure, technical, regulatory, program, or governance writing experience.
• Ability to research requirements, interview SMEs, reconcile comments, and produce clear documents.
• Strong editing, organization, plain-language, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with federal/government contracting, cybersecurity, or regulated programs is a plus.
• Familiarity with NIST, DoD, ISO, CMMI, records-management, or policy-governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Research laws, regulations, contract requirements, standards, and practices relevant to assigned policies.
• Draft and revise policies, procedures, governance documents, implementation guidance, and decision materials.
• Interview SMEs and stakeholders to validate operational reality, risks, dependencies, and ownership.
• Reconcile comments, maintain decision logs, and facilitate review through approval.
• Apply templates, plain-language principles, accessibility, version control, metadata, and records-management requirements.
• Maintain policy inventories, review schedules, cross-references, change summaries, and authoritative repositories.
