Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with ten years progressively more responsible experience managing projects
• PMP certification or equivalent
• Experience managing large teams of people working toward complex goals
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Experience managing government grants and contracts for research
• Understanding of biostatistical, technical programming, and clinical issues related to health care research
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with project management software
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project management standards, including tools, processes, and best practices
• Serve as proposal Project Manager and mentor coordinators and associates
• Manage a variety of projects with different contract types and funding sources
• Oversee day-to-day PMO operations and ensure timely reporting
• Provide supervision and guidance to project staff and ensure quality of deliverables
