Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with ten years progressively responsible project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience in direct and indirect management of large teams working toward complex goals.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Experience with government grants and contracts for research.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead project management plans, budgets, and resource estimates; re-estimate as priorities shift.
• Negotiate resources with senior staff to meet project timelines.
• Serve as day-to-day liaison to clients or funders and provide progress and reporting.
• Provide monthly progress and budget reports to stakeholders.
• Lead development of project management standards, tools, and processes with PMO leadership.
• Manage diverse contracts and programs, including cross-functional teams and complex scientific content.
