Job summary

AMSURG seeks a Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives focused on Health Plan Relations. This remote role supports cross-functional projects impacting revenue cycle performance and reimbursement outcomes, developing detailed workplans and executive-ready updates.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management discipline, excellent written and verbal communication, and deep knowledge of ASC revenue processes and payer workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; PM certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (Smartsheet).
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple cross-functional projects across full lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain detailed workplans with milestones and dependencies.
• Prepare executive status reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Use Excel, Power BI, Tableau to track KPIs for review.
• Coordinate meetings, capture decisions, and follow up on actions.
